“I tried to be normal once, worst 32 minutes of my life”

Describe yourself in a sentence or random collection of words.

I’m a country girl, formatting nazi, horse & dog lover, sunrise chaser, relationship builder, organisational queen who’s Harry Potter OBSESSED. Oh and I could survive on a diet of tea, wine and cheese.

What’s your best dad joke?

My dad’s most used dad joke… “What time is is?” “I don’t know… it keeps changing!”

Where did you grow up and what did it teach you?

I grew up in country NSW 3 hours west of Dubbo (yes the middle of no where). Without sounding philosophical… life’s tough so stay positive, smile at people, tell your family you love them, take joy in the simple things, realise the beauty of where we are right now, otherwise it’s going to be a mighty long journey. If all that fails, have a cup of tea and cry once in a while… it’s good for the soul.

What are some of your favourite brands you’ve worked on?

I’ve been blessed to work across a diverse range of brands, to list a few of my favourites: Lindt, Taubmans, MasterCard, AMP, Cathay Pacific, PPG…

I’ve had a bit of a mixed bag with experience, I’ve worked agency side both media and creative, but I’ve also worked client side.

The one common denominator across all these roles has been relationship building… I want people to like me (yes I’m vain), but it’s more than an attempt at trying to share a friendship bracelet.

I want to help people and understand why they’re having a bad day and work out how to fix it for them (gosh this turned soppy really quickly!). It’s true though, I feel an extreme sense of satisfaction when I’ve motivated people to take a certain action or turned a bad day into a good one.

C’mon you can’t tell me you don’t feel that rush when you know you’ve done a good thing for someone else… that’s the rush I chase (whilst eating and drinking tea, wine & cheese pending the hour of the day).

Every brand, every client, every job is unique and the process used must be… unique to you.
