Where did you grow up and what did it teach you?
I grew up in a small village in Cork, Ireland. It was a beautiful part of the world to grow up with four siblings. I’ve learnt to live for today and value each and every day. Life’s for the living and don’t put off until _tomorrow what you can do today. The most important thing in life is family. Everything else is just “stuff”
What are some of your favourite brands you’ve worked on?
I’ve been lucky to work across a huge and varied range of brands and have enjoyed Coca-Cola, Johnson & Johnson, PPG, Nestlé, Scotts, GSK, Cadbury’s, Revlon, Sanitarium, Mars, Heinz…
I graduated with a Bachelor of Design (Hons) in Visual Communications from the National College of Art and Design, Dublin. I’ve over 20 years experience in both above and below the line advertising and design agencies, so I get what works.
I love it when my design gets the client excited. That’s the pay back I strive for every time – it’s when you know you’ve nailed it and delivered a real consumer connection.
I specialise in conceptual design for identity and brand development for packaging, but I also have many years experience working on Print collateral, POS and Promotional material, so have a big picture perspective.
I take great pride in my ability to create original and innovative solutions. I am really passionate about design and visual effectiveness, providing concepts with style, that ensure credibility and quality in all projects.
In short, I love what I do and the industry I work in – I’ve met so many great and inspiring people along the way!
